Expertise:
- Diagnostic expertise in all aspects of Pediatric and Adult NeuroPathology and Cell Biology, with particular interests in neuro-oncology and muscle and nerve biopsies.

Research Interests:
- Research interest in neuro-oncology has been directed to the "phakomatoses". Markers of malignant progression such as CD 44 and p53 expression as well as studies on expression of neurofibromin and erythropoietin are ongoing. Vascular Pathology and Cell Biology both in neuro-oncology and dementia are areas of significant interest and will continue to be explored both with the use of human tissue and animal models. Clinical research interests include atypical CNS infections particularly PRION diseases.
