* First call!! The *Library Catalog* (also known fondly as Webluis) is *being replaced* by a new system. The changeover formally takes place in late June. The library will provide training and support to smooth the transition. The code name for the new system is Aleph,  but we will be referring to it simply as the Catalog.  Stay tuned for updates

* Faculty who wish to have *orientations* to library resources and services, *presented in their classrooms*, need only make a request by replying to this message

* Need *medical images and pictures* for your powerpoint presentations? We offer access to 2 great sites, accessible from the Shimberg Library <http://www.hsc.usf.edu/library> home page. Under Research Tools, go to Internet Health Sites, and click on *Hardin Medical Directory*. This is free and available to anyone, from anywhere.  Also check out  *images.MD*; go to the Databases menu, left side of the Shimberg Library <http://www.hsc.usf.edu/library> home page, go to BioMed Central, once at the site, select images.MD from the menu on the left side of their site

* Check out *AnatomyTv*, "The World's Most Detailed 3D Model of Human Anatomy Online" also from the Shimberg Library <http://www.hsc.usf.edu/library> home page, left side, Database menu

**Search Tip:* Try a new feature in PubMed-*Special Queries*. To use it, go to the PubMed menu, left side, under PubMed Services, Special Queries. These are *specifically filtered literature interfaces*. You'll find them interesting and time saving.
