Bio Sketch

I relocated to Florida from New York City in January 2008 to be with my husband Stephen, who is a Tampa native. I was born and raised in Long Island, and moved to New York City after college for my medical education and training.

After completing my fellowship, I joined Beth Israel Medical Center in New York as full time faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology. While at BIMC, I developed a rewarding glaucoma and cataract practice, and was ultimately appointed the Assistant Director of the Department. In addition, I served as an Associate Adjunct on the Glaucoma Service at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Since I have joined the USF Eye Institute, my husband and I have shed our winter coats to enjoy all that Florida has to offer, like swimming, kayaking, tennis and fishing; as well as spending time with family in the year round sunshine. I look forward to continuing an exciting clinical and academic career with my colleagues here at USF.
