Medical school admissions is very competitive. We firmly believe that the admissions process needs to be open and informative with rapid, effective, and honest communication being essential elements for success. We request that you work closely with the Pre-Med Advising Office at your school, do your research on medical schools, and attend the Medical School Forums which occur in and around the state of Florida.

When considering a medical program closely examine the curriculum, available medical facilities and training methods, diversity of the student body and patient population, residency opportunities, locale, cost, and support available to you. You should meet with students from each school to determine attitudes and to verify the results of your research on that institution. I am confident that you will find that the USF MD Program will positively impress you in all of these areas. Furthermore, I am convinced that the USF MD Program is one of the few premier clinical training programs in the nation.
