Interests
Natriuretic peptide expression and function in the digestive tract
Pathways of communication between the cardiovascular system and the gastrointestinal tract
Current Research
Regulation of the synthesis and release of the gastrointestinal regulatory peptides, i.e. atrial peptides. Elucidation of the physiological and pathophysiological function of atrial peptides in the gut and cardiovascular system.
