Call for Abstracts

Call for Abstracts
Deadline March 1, 2009

Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts that describe their original research results. Abstracts will be published in the symposium program, on the website, and on CD.

Electronic submission is required, and online submission is being considered. Updates will be posted on this site.

  • The abstract should begin 1" from the top of the page and must fit into a 6 1/2" x 9" area and should be in 12 pt. Times New Roman font.
  • Title should be in ALL CAPITALS..
  • Underline the name of the person who will present the paper.
  • Include the names of all authors.
  • Include professional/institutional affiliation

Participants who submit abstracts are expected to present their work in the scheduled poster session. There are three scheduled poster sessions (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday). Times are not finalized at this point due to the change from 4 sessions to 3. Times will be posted once a final decision is made. You will be notified BY E-MAIL of the poster session to which your poster has been assigned, and the poster number. Posters must fit inside a 4' high by 8' wide area, and should be attached to poster boards with pins. Abstracts will be published in the symposium program, on the website, and on CD..

NOTE: Students, fellows and technologists are eligible for travel award competition sponsored by PASCV. Applicants for this competition must submit a completed PASCV Travel Grant Application and provide the information and documentation specified on the application.
