Dr. Wiedbrauk is currently the Scientific Director of Virology
and Molecular Biology at Warde Medical Laboratory in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Wiedbrauk received his Ph.D. degree from the University
of Notre Dame and was a staff fellow in the Laboratory of
Persistent Viral Diseases at the NIH Rocky Mountain Laboratory
in Hamilton, Montana.
Dr. Wiedbrauk currently serves on the editorial boards of
the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics and Clinical and Diagnostic
Laboratory Immunology and is a co-organizer of the Clinical
Virology Symposium and the Molecular Virology Workshop, which
are held annually in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
Dr. Wiedbrauk's clinical and research interests include
viral diagnostics, medical informatics, and the application
of nucleic acid amplification and sequencing technologies
to the diagnosis of infectious diseases.
