Continuing education objectives:

As a result of this workshop, participants will (1) improve their understand of molecular diagnostic techniques for detecting viruses, (2) develop an improved ability to select and perform molecular methods for the diagnosis and quantitation of viruses, and (3) improve their ability to assist clinical staff in the proper interpretation of results obtained from molecular virology testing.
The University of South Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel has approved the Molecular Virology Workshop for 8 CEU hours for Clinical Laboratory Directors, Supervisors, Technicians, and Technologists. Credit is entered through CE Broker following the Symposium.
